Open Gear Lubricant.
Food plants often require a "food grade" open gear lubricant on equipment, which is operating near food being
processed.
NEVASTANE 5P7 Open Gear is a very tacky lube that forms a tenacious film providing load and wear protection
along with superior corrosion resistance from salt and food acids. It offers excellent moisture resistance and a
high temperature limit in excess of 300oF.
NEVASTANE foodgrade lubricants assure long machine life while reducing contamination problems as required by
the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System (HACCP).
NSF category code H-1, approved for incidental food contact.
NSF Registration Number 123543.
