CASTROL ILOCUT HSW 3
DESCRIPTION:
Castrol Ilocut HSW 3 in an extreme-pressure neat cutting oil based on solvent-refined mineral oil with active sulphur,
chlorine and fat. Appearance is clear and dark brown.
APPLICATION:
? Castrol Ilocut HSW 3 is specially formulated for use in thread-cutting machines including pipe threading and
tapping.
? Castrol Ilocut HSW 3 may be recommended as a cutting oil for Rigid and other types of screwing machines used
by plumbers in the building industry.
PRECAUTIONS:
? Not suitable for non-ferrous metals.
? Avoid water entry.

? Excellent die life.
? Heavily loaded with extreme-pressure additives, which is especially important when handling arduous
operations such as thread cutting, tapping and drilling.
? Ensures excellent surface finish.
? Ensure clean threads.
? Blended to a relatively low viscosity.
? Extra flushing actions to clear swarf out of cutting area.
? Good penetration of lubricant cutting area.
? Excellent cooling action.
? Excellent extreme-pressure additives.
